The brief
A car repair shop beside a road. The priority was a sign mounted high, readable from a moving car — not something anyone looks at up close.
The solution
I designed the large banner first and then scaled down. The typeface leans offroad and racing because that is the world the work belongs to, and anything that did not read from a distance came out. What was left worked on the workwear and the stationery without changes.
