The brief
The shop is in Polykarpi, Kastoria. Neither the village nor the wider area had a coffee place that had taken its own look seriously, in the space or on paper.
The solution
The bar was not to stand out from the competition, it was to start higher than the area was used to. I built the identity around the cup, because that is the piece that leaves the shop and gets carried around — and the same system holds on a sign and on eight centimetres of cardboard.
